What we do

We benchmark hosting providers on uptime, page-load speed, support responsiveness, and the specific feature mix that matters for each profession we cover. We re-test our top picks at minimum every quarter and refresh pricing data continuously as providers change plans.

Editorial standards

• Independence: Affiliate links never affect the ranking order. We rank by tested performance and profession-fit, then disclose affiliate relationships on every page that contains them.
• Real testing: Every product reviewed has been spun up, configured, and used for the workload its profession-fit page recommends it for.
